Emily Murphy Park in Edmonton is my favorite picnic spot. It's nestled along the North Saskatchewan River and offers beautiful green space, walking trails, and picnic tables surrounded by nature. To get there from downtown Edmonton, take Groat Road north and follow signs for Emily Murphy Park. There's ample parking and even access to a small beach area in summer.
